Calderdale has reached a two-year milestone since launching its first Climate Action Plan. Created alongside local experts and residents, the plan focuses on six key areas to build a greener, fairer borough.

| Tenant Power | A partnership with Octopus Energy giving tenants cheaper electricity via solar and battery storage. |
| Green Business | Local manufacturer Azo Limited now runs on solar power and an all-electric fleet. |
| Active Travel | The ‘Beat the Street’ game turned North Halifax into a giant playground to encourage walking and cycling. |
| Community Nature | Bridestones Moor is now Calderdale’s first community-owned nature space. |
