Newsletter: May flood update

The May issue of the Calderdale Flood Newsletter is now available. This month, we’re shining a spotlight on the power of partnership and providing updates on key Flood Alleviation Schemes (FAS) across Calderdale. Highlights include:

  • Update on the Copley Flood Alleviation Scheme (FAS), including progress made in both phase one and two.
  • The Yorkshire Regional Flood and Coastal Committee (RFCC) that met in Calderdale, with members also taking part in a site visit to Brighouse.
  • Details of the ‘Growing Moor’ project funded by a grant from the Priority Actions Fund for Natural Flood Management, awarded by Calderdale Council and the Environment Agency.
