As part of the West Yorkshire Flood Innovation Programme (WYFLIP), we are seeking input from individuals involved in flooding, flood resilience, or natural flood management in the Calder Valley to help test an online, map-based tool.
The survey focuses on understanding local flood issues, including upstream sources of flood water, local problems that may worsen flooding, identifying locations for local flood mitigation measures, downstream impacts, and the likely effects of climate change.
A new virtual spray can tool has been developed to explore stakeholders’ perceptions of flooding.
The data collected will be analysed to identify common patterns and insights, which will inform future flood management strategies in the area.
The survey will take between 30 minutes to an hour to complete, and participants will need a desktop computer with a mouse. The deadline to complete the survey is February 14th.
