Biodiversity Officer
The Countryside and Woodlands team is recruiting a Biodiversity Officer (job share) to deliver a specialised nature conservation service on behalf of the Council. Working in a team that manages countryside sites across Calderdale for the benefit of wildlife and people.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong practical ecological skills and knowledge with experience of working on planning and development applications as well as good ecological survey and monitoring skills. A high level of technical skill is required as well as the ability to interpret complex reports, policy and strategy.
