Helping better preparation for flooding

Todmorden Flood Group marked its first annual meeting with a successful open event at Central Methodist Church, Todmorden, on Saturday 21st of February.

A meet-and-greet stall the Thursday prior had also proved popular, both events allowing people to take up a more active role with the group or just find out more about its aims.

It was formed in the aftermath of the devastating Calder Valley floods of 2012 and set up to work for the benefit of residents and business owners in and around the town who are at risk of flooding.
