Consultation by iCASP (Yorkshire Integrated Catchment Solutions Programme)
Natural Flood Management (NFM) measures are springing up across the country.
The Yorkshire Integrated Catchment Solutions Programme (iCASP) is supporting the modelling and monitoring of some of the Yorkshire NFM pilot schemes, including those in Calderdale. iCASP is a collaboration between several universities and organisations to apply existing environmental science to tackle challenges across Yorkshire.
iCASP are currently running a survey to capture the publics’ views of NFM measures. An understanding of the publics’ views will enable us to identify what is working well and what needs improvement in NFM and use this information to inform policy debates around these measures. In addition, the insights gained can be fed into future land management schemes.
The survey can be completed by anyone – whether you’ve volunteered on installing measures, own land with NFM measures installed or have never actually seen NFM in action – your views are important.
The survey should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete and can be found at: iCASP NFM Survey.
For more information on iCASP, see the iCASP website.
