Slow the Flow to appear on new BBC show

Calderdale natural flood management group Slow the Flow will be appearing on new BBC 1 programme Let's Get a Good Thing Going at 9.15am on Friday 22nd December. The show visits five locations across the UK and introduces four volunteer groups from each one, then it is down to the communities to decide on who should win the cash.
If you are unable to catch the morning show, Look North will feature an interview with Slow the Flow on its pioneering work at Hardcastle Crags at 6.30pm the night before.
The group's next volunteer day is tomorrow (Saturday 16th December) at 9.30am. They have also arranged an extra date (Thursday 4th January) from 10am to 2pm to give partners and members of the community the opportunity to get involved, see what has been done so far to help slow the flow and find out how leaky dams are built.
More information will be available on Eye on Calderdale soon and you can also follow Slow the Flow on Facebook and Twitter for updates. For a full list of upcoming volunteering days and to find out more about the work the group is doing, visit http://slowtheflow.net.
